Men's Mental Health Gold Day Fundraiser

Join Ian Kenny (Birds of Tokyo/Karnivool), Myles Pollard (Actor/Director/ Producer), Ben Stratton (ex Hawthorn captain & 3 time premiership player), Jake Patto (ex pro surfer), Len Thomas (ex pro golfer & PGA life member) & other local legends for 9 holes of Ambrose golf at Dunsborough Lakes Golf Club. After the round we will head back to the Clubhouse for some food, chat, and maybe even hear a story or two from the legends joining us on the day.
Not only does the ticket price cover all this, it's also raising funds for Brothers & Yarns a great cause that was started as a podcast by locals Cal Foster & Adam Levi from The Movement Gym. They are currently putting the final touches on an online course where guys can learn how to create good habits around sleep, nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness to help improve their mental health. The funds raised on this golf day will help to put local men through their amazing course.
Brothers & Yarns are also running a monthly mens group where all guys are welcome to join in an activity and a chat. This is all about creating a safe space for men to relax and have a place to get stuff off their chests and create a stronger local community.
“8.6 Australians die of suicide every day and 75% of those are male so supporting Brothers & Yarns to provide education and opportunities for local men to improve their mental health is really important to improve mental health and support our men locally.”
