Lou Weston Facility Upgrade
Project Status
Open to the public.
About the Project
The Lou Weston Facility is a vibrant precinct used by various sporting clubs since the 1960s.
We are excited to deliver a new sporting precinct that includes:
- A new Lois Hannay pavilion
- 12 new courts (6 netball and 6 multi-use basketball/netball)
The upgrade has created a hub for recreation and sporting opportunities in Busselton and the broader region.
The Busselton Netball Association and Busselton Basketball Association helped to design the pavilion and courts.
This project was jointly funded by:
- City of Busselton
- Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries
- Busselton Netball Association
The new facility opened to the public August 2020.
