Sister Cities Japan Day in Perth

As part of the Busselton Sugito Sister City program, the Busselton and Sugito Sister Cities Association (BASSCA) are running a one day Japanese immersion trip to Perth for Year Nine Students in the July School Holidays.
The cost of the excursion will be heavily subsided by BASSCA. Students will travel to Perth by bus early in the morning and return late the same day. Students will require a mobile phone for ease of contact and will be well supervised on the day. High standards of appropriate behaviour and dress, similar to a school excursion are expected.
Activities will include:
* Visit to the Hyogo Prefectural Government Japanese Cultural Centre
* Japanese Calligraphy
* Japanese Tea Ceremony Japanese Cooking and Japanese Lunch
* Manga Drawing Workshop (Characters used in Japanese Animation – Anime)
* Visiting Japanese Daiso Variety Store
WHEN: Wednesday 13th July 2022
WHERE: Hyogo Prefectural Cultural Centre, Perth and Westfield Carousel Shopping Centre
COST: $65
TIME: Approx 6.30am to 7.00pm (TBC)
TOUR LEADERS: Local school teachers and BASSCA executive members
