Piggotts Road - Transport of Materials

The City of Busselton wishes to advise residents of upcoming works involving the transport of construction materials along Piggotts Road.
Works are scheduled to commence Monday 23 March 2026 and are expected to continue for approximately 2 to 3 weeks, subject to weather and operational requirements.

During this period, heavy vehicles will be transporting material along the following route:

Ludlow–Hithergreen Road → Piggott Road → Piggott Pit

 To improve safety for road users and residents during the campaign, temporary speed reductions will be in place:

  • Espinos Road to the narrow section of Piggott Road: speed reduced to 60 km/h
  • Narrow section of Piggott Road to the pit entry: speed reduced to 40 km/h

Appropriate signage will be installed to notify drivers of the temporary speed changes.
