The City of Busselton’s popular You Choose community funding program is back, with $100,000 available to support community-led projects that strengthen connections and enhance local wellbeing. Grants of up to $20,000 will be awarded to successful initiatives.
What sets You Choose apart from other funding programs is its participatory approach. After proposals are assessed to ensure they are safe, legal and aligned with the program’s objectives, the community is invited to vote for the projects they believe will deliver the greatest benefit. The most popular initiatives are then presented to Council for endorsement.
Mayor Phill Cronin said: “The quality and diversity of submissions this year highlights the passion and creativity within the Busselton community.”
“Over the past few months, not-for-profit groups and organisations across the City have developed some wonderful ideas that aim to educate, connect and bring people together through creative and meaningful initiatives.”
“The You Choose program gives residents a direct say in how part of the City’s budget is allocated, and this year there are 13 fantastic projects for the community to consider and vote on.”

Your participation ensures funding decisions reflect what matters most to our community.”
