Nominations Open for City of Busselton 2025 Sports Awards – Celebrating Local Sporting Excellence

The City of Busselton is proud to announce that the 2025 Sports Awards will be held on Monday 27 October 2025, bringing the community together to celebrate the achievements of our local athletes, clubs and sporting associations.

These annual awards recognise individuals and organisations who have made significant contributions to sport within the City of Busselton, whether through outstanding performance, leadership or commitment to community sport. These awards are a highlight of the City’s calendar.

Mayor Cronin said: “Sport plays a vital role in strengthening community connections, promoting health and wellbeing, and inspiring the next generation. The City’s annual Sports Awards provide an opportunity to acknowledge the dedication and success of our local athletes, coaches, volunteers and clubs who make such an important contribution to our community.”

“We encourage everyone in the community to consider nominating anyone they think is worthy of recognition” he said.

Nominations for the 2025 Sports Awards are open until 13 October 2025 with categories recognising a wide range of achievements across all levels of sport.
