Notice of Public Advertisement of Planning Proposal

The City of Busselton has received an application to use and/or develop land for the following purposes, and public comments are invited.

Property:                              Lot 4 Diagram 67745 No 2774 Caves Road Yallingup  WA 

Proposed Development:   Industry - Extractive (Sand)

The proposal includes the following:

• 14ha of sand extraction area divided into 5 stages.
• Approximately 453,000m3 of sand to be extracted from the sand pit over 5 years.
• 25Ha of native vegetation clearing.
• The proposed haulage along internal gravel road, before exiting on to Wyadup Road and travelling east to Caves Road.
• A maximum 200 truck haulage movements per day (10 trucks entering and exiting the site per hour).

Please be aware that details of your submission may be made available to the applicant for the opportunity to respond. In certain instances, your submission may also be used to form part of a Council report making it a public document.
