Temporary Road and Access Impacts – March 2026

The City of Busselton advises that a film production working in the region will require short‑term road closures and traffic management at several locations in March.
The production company is working closely with the City, the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage, Department of Transport, and Main Roads to facilitate the necessary approvals.
Friday 13 March – Sugarloaf Road and Shelley Cove
Sugarloaf Road and carpark will be closed 5.00am – 4.30pm.
Bunker Bay Road (between Farmbreak Lane and Shelley Cove carpark) will be closed to public access 5.00am – 10.00pm.
Traffic management will be in place in both locations.
Saturday 21 March – Stop/slow traffic management will be in place on the following roads:
Ludlow Hithergreen Road (between Williamson Rd and Vasse Hwy) – 8.00am – 10.30am
Tuart Drive/Ludlow Rd Nth (between Ludlow Hithergreen Rd North and Layman Rd) – 10.30am - 1.00pm
Cape Naturaliste Road, Dunsborough (between Meelup Beach Rd and Wardandi Dr) – 1.30pm – 3.00pm
Sugarloaf Road - 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Wyadup Road – 4.00pm – 6.30pm
Monday 23 March – Wilyabrup Road
Wilyabrup Road (from Caves Rd) and carpark will be closed 6.00am – 8.00pm.
Traffic management will be in place.
Friday 27 March – Vasse Hwy, Yoganup
Stop/slow traffic management will be in place 6.00am – 4pm
