Busselton Jetty Swim 2026

Western Australia’s favourite annual open water swimming event features a 3.6km swim around the iconic Busselton Jetty, along with a range of other distances to suit swimmers of all ages and abilities.

The Busselton Jetty Swim truly is a swim for everybody, and everybody’s Swim.

This not-for-profit, volunteer-run community event will welcome more than 5,000 swimmers and their supporters for a weekend of fun and entertainment in and out of the water.

Saturday includes the Kids Swim, Simon’s 500m Shortcut Swim, and 2 and 4 person team events.

Sunday is dedicated to the signature 3.6km solo swim around the iconic Busselton Jetty and the One Mile Swim to Shore.

Entry to Sunday’s events is by online ballot, open from 1 to 8 October, with places allocated randomly.

Entries for Saturday’s events open on 16 October and will remain open until 20 January 2026, unless sold out sooner.

For those who prefer to stay dry, there’s plenty of entertainment and activities, including our free family-friendly sunset concert on Saturday 7 February, in collaboration with the City of Busselton’s Shift Crew Youth Battle of the Bands finals.
