Beachfields Drive and Latrobe Place in Abbey - Drainage Works

The City of Busselton wishes to advise that drainage works will be undertaken at the corner of Beachfields Drive and Latrobe Place in Abbey.

These works involve connecting an existing soakwell to the piped drainage network to improve stormwater capacity in the area. This will support more efficient drainage during rainfall events.

Works are scheduled to occur between late January 2026 and early February 2026 and are expected to take less than one week to complete. Construction activities will generally occur between the hours of 7:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

A temporary road closure will be required during the works, with some overnight closures expected. Detours will be in place and traffic controllers will be on site to assist road users.

If the works are directly impacting your property, the site supervisor will contact you during the works to discuss access arrangements and timing.
