Duchess Street - footpath sealing

The City of Busselton will be carrying out footpath sealing works along Duchess Street from Queen Street to West Street this weekend Saturday 8 November and Sunday 9 November 2025 to complete the final stage of the recent paving project. To allow these works to be undertaken safely and efficiently, the footpath will be closed from Saturday morning until Sunday afternoon (5:00 pm).

To assist with the works, we kindly ask residents:

  • Not to park vehicles on your driveway from the evening of Friday 7 November 
  • Avoid driving over the footpath and crossovers until after 5:00 pm Sunday, once the sealing works are complete.

This temporary closure is necessary to ensure a high-quality finish and long-term durability of the brick paver footpath. Access to properties will otherwise remain open for pedestrians where safe to do so.
