Naturaliste Community Centre Car Park Upgrades
Published on Monday, 17 November 2025 at 2:12:00 PM
The Naturaliste Community Centre carpark and access road will undergo resurfacing works starting Monday 17 November 2025.
These works will be over a 4 week period with a two-day full shut down (dates to be confirmed).
This means, that part of the carpark will remain open for the majority of the works, although we do encourage you to find alternative parking (see map below).
The Center will remain OPEN during all of the works.
Why does the carpark need an upgrade?
The works are essential to address the existing tree root intrusion that has caused damage to the carpark surface, ensuring a safer and more durable area for all users.
While this upgrade will involve some temporary disruption and make access to the centre a little more challenging, it is an important step to maintain the quality and safety of our facility.
Tree Replacement
To prevent future root intrusion, some trees will need to be removed. While we understand this is disappointing, it is necessary to protect the integrity of the new carpark surface. New trees will be planted (where) as part of the project to maintain a green and welcoming environment.
Alternative Parking
- Sections of the carpark will remain open during the works, except for the 2 day full shut down (date to be confirmed)
- During the two day full closure period, please use the carparks adjacent to the two ovals next to the NCC (see map)
- These are a short 2–5 minute walk across the ovals to the centre.
- Walking and cycling are encouraged
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we complete these important works. If you have any questions, please contact our friendly NCC staff on (08) 9755 3966 or ncc@busselton.wa.gov.au.
