Temporary Road Closures - Commonage Road

UPDATE - 6 March 2024

The scope of works being undertaken to reconstruct Commonage Road (between Griffin Drive and Mewett Road) has been expanded. This means that the area where works are taking place will now need to be closed for 24 hours a day until 28 March 2024.

The current temporary traffic management and detours will continue to be in place to assist road users to manage their journey, but for this period the road will no longer be able to be open in the evenings or on weekends.

The City will be undertaking road reconstruction works on Commonage Road, Dunsborough between Griffin Drive and Mewett Road from early March to early May 2024.

This work is necessary to address the current condition of the road and to ensure the road will support an increase in use as our community grows.

Work will be undertaken Monday to Friday between 7.00am and 5.00pm.

The road will be open to traffic outside of these hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Temporary traffic management and detours will be in place.
