The City of Busselton Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for projects and events for the International Day of Disability (IDPwD) 2022.

The International Day of Disability is held on 3 December 2022 and offers the disability community a platform from which they can artistically and culturally express themselves.  It is designed to encourage community connection, challenge assumptions and open up possibilities. This event is being held in conjunction with the 2022 Ironman event, an iconic event which will have a focus on disability inclusion in 2022.

We invite all Community Groups, Organisations, Venues, Industries, Businesses, Individuals and Cooperatives to submit proposals consistent with the City’s inclusion goals. We encourage all innovative ideas from any sector. This is an opportunity to showcase the skills and abilities of people with disability, and to celebrate their contributions and achievements, whilst promoting inclusion.

Multiple Expressions of Interest for different proposals are permitted.

Prospective applicants will be required to consider available site locations and infrastructure services in order to run successfully.

For further information about how you can get involved or to obtain an application form, please contact Cassandra Armstrong, Community Development Officer on Tel: (08) 9781 0496 or electronically to cassandra.armstrong@busselton.wa.gov.au.

The closing date for the receipt of expressions of interest by the City of Busselton has been extended until: 19 August 2022 before 3pm.
